This salve is similar to our All Purpose Salve except for three very significant differences, making it appropriate for those with super sensitive and irritated skin. 1 Touchy Skin Salve has no essential oils added, just to make sure to avoid any irritation that a scent may cause. A good smell will reveal the earthy presence of herbs, coconut oil, and beeswax, and nothing else. 2 This salve has castor oil added, to give it extra emollient and soothing properties. 3 Touchy Skin Salve contains organic licorice root added to the oil infusion. Licorice contains glycyrrhizic acid, which helps optimize the natural cortisol produced by the body in response to inflammation, as in the case with eczema. it is therefore known to have anti-inflammatory effects.
